"A superhero Face Mask to combat spots, cleanse dirt and calm and smooth all troubled skins." I'd never tried any Lush face masks before, and wanted something to cleanse and clear my skin of impurities; so I thought cosmetic warrior was the perfect choice. When I got to the till and they said it was £5.75 I was thinking, ouch, a little on the pricey side IMO. However you do get alot for your money, so far ive used the product twice and it still is over half full. The downside to this is that you have to use the product within 3 weeks of purchase, as it contains no preservatives. If your like me and have quite a busy life, so you dont get round to giving yourself facials very oftern, this poses a problem. I used the product this morning, 3 days out of date, and it still looked and smelt the same and just had a little residue on top.
The product doesn't look very appealing and smells a little strange. It has a thick oatmeal consistency, and a small amount of force is required to scoop it out of the tub. It applies onto the skin easily but I had a lot of difficulty removing it from my face. It left my skin really dry, so I had to slaver on lots of moisturizer after use. It did however cleanse my skin and left it looking slightly clearer and I havent had as many breakouts since I started using it.
Overall I would give this product 3.5/5 because although effective, the results weren't worth the trouble/price. Next time I will be trying a different lush face mask to see how they compare.
